Tottenham will be keen to continue their impressive home record against Manchester City as their last three meetings at White Hart Lane have all ended in 2-1 wins for Spurs.
A Darren Bent double gave Harry Redknapp’s side another 2-1 win in the reverse fixture at Eastlands in November and if they can get the better of City again, it will be their third winning double over them in the last four seasons. Manchester City manager Mark Hughes is adamant his side can still claim a place in Europe. With two games remaining, Fulham are in the driving seat after City’s 2-0 defeat by Manchester United at Old Trafford.
However, Hughes believes they can get something out of the game against Tottenham on Saturday and the final-day encounter with Bolton to claim seventh spot. But City have lost their last four games at White Hart Lane 2-1 and last won there in April 2003.
